We ask you to skim the surface of the pool every day to remove leaves, bugs, and debris that might clog your pool circulation system. Then on our weekly visit we will skim again, clean out filter baskets, and check for any debris inside the pump.
2. Brush and Vacuum Weekly
We’ll brush the pool walls to remove buildup and vacuum to keep the water crystal clear. If you invest in a pool robot vacuuming throughout the week is a lot easier!
3. Clean the Skimmer and Pump Basket
These collect debris—we clean them out to maintain optimal circulation and efficiency.
4. Test The Water
We use test strips or kits to check the pH, chlorine, alkalinity, and calcium hardness. You can also do this yourself at least twice a week.
5. Balance Your Chemicals
We will apply the necessary chemicals to maintain the proper chemical levels to prevent algae, bacteria growth, and water cloudiness.
6. Shock the Pool
“Shocking” your pool every couple of weeks kills lingering contaminants and keeps water sparkling.
7. Check Water Levels
Water should be halfway up your skimmer opening. We will refill as needed after evaporation or lots of pool activity.
8. Clean the Filter
